Urge the House to vote no on HR4038

Tomorrow, the House plans to hold a vote on the American Security Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act of 2015 (HR4038), which could add months or years to the already lengthy security screening process for refugees from Syria. The bill creates a bureaucratic review process for Syrian refugees that would require the Secretary of Homeland Security to individually certify whether a refugee poses a threat to the United States, and would require reporting to thirteen different congressional committees on each refugee under consideration for resettlement. While the review process is being created, resettlement from Syria would be shut down. We need your help to ensure that legislators hear from you in support of Syrian refugees and against HR4038.
